Frank is a third-generation cop of Italian descent. His family landed in New York in the mid-1800s, then heard about the fortunes to be made in California and headed west. Frank is one of six children, and a big believer in family. He’s currently a bachelor, so he extends “family” to include his fellow cops. He worked his way up through the ranks from beat cop to his current Detective Lieutenant. Along the way, he developed a reputation as a tenacious detective who doesn’t let go of a case until it’s solved. Most of his peers feel it’s only a matter of time before he’s promoted to captain.

Frank’s worked in the Tenderloin practically his entire career. It’s the smallest police district in San Francisco geographically, but it has one of the highest rates of violent crime (e.g. murder, aggravated assault) in the city. It’s also popular with supernatural predators. As a result, Frank has seen his share of “weird” stuff. Most of the time he ignores it, and he never puts it into his official reports. But occasionally something happens that he just can’t explain. He’s come to the conclusion there’s probably more to the picture than what he can see, but he’s not sure he wants to find out what it is. That’s why he isn’t part of The Deadpool and he also keeps putting off his cousin, a member of the local Wiccan community, when she tries to tell him about “magic.”

Frank is in his late thirties, 6’ tall, and weighs approximately 185 pounds. He keeps his curly brown hair boyishly short; it brings out the green in his hazel eyes. He’s not a weightlifter, but he does enjoy racquetball and basketball, and uses them to stay in generally good shape. His time in the Tenderloin has made him a crack shot, as well as a good judge of human character.
